​Greetings Hampton Elementary School Families, 

We hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful Victoria Day! A great time to connect with family and friends.

May 22nd – Victoria Day Holiday so there are no classes for students.

Provincial Assessments – This week is our final week for Provincial Assessments at HES.

Hampton Middle School Visit – This Thursday, May 25th, HMS welcomes our grade 5 students for a visit and a school tour! We know that they are excited to meet their future grade 6 students!

DATL Grade 2 Visit – We are so very excited to welcome our future grade 3 students this coming Friday, May 26th! Grade 2 students from DATL will come up to HES with their class and have a tour of our school.

Disability Awareness Week - May 28th to June 3rd is Disability Awareness Week. This year’s theme is Accessibility = Inclusion. This is a national campaign designed to promote more efficient community access for people with disabilities. Hampton Elementary School will be taking part in a Walk and Roll Event on May 30th at 10:45 am to promote this movement. We will be walking and rolling together along School Street up past the middle school and back. Mrs. Henry will also be leading classes through adapted activities during PE that week.

Volunteer Tea – HES will host a THANK YOU for all our wonderful volunteers on Tuesday, June 6th @ 11am in our gym.

Grade 5 Moving Up Celebration – We are looking forward to celebrating our Grade 5 students at our Moving Up Celebration on June 21st @ 11am.

Morning Drop-off – A gentle reminder that students can be dropped off at 7:50am, when our duty teachers are there to greet them.
